Scitech Continues to Improve Display Doctor Pro
Scitech continues their development of new video features for OS/2 users. This screenshot of an OS/2 desktop
running on a dual-head system was
posted on the Display Doctor for OS/2 newsgroup. According to the folks at SciTech, newer cards like the Matrox
Parihelia which supports 3 monitors will also be supported. As someone who just bought a multihead video
card, I'm looking forward to seeing this feature in the publically available releases.

Warpstock 2002
Warpstock 2002 is to be held the weekend of October 5-6, 2002 at the
Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin Texas.
The following new presentations have been confirmed so far, with more to
follow in the coming weeks:
- CID, LSMT, Rapid Deployment, presented by Alain Rykaert.
- DFSee, an introduction, parts 1 and 2 , presented by Jan van Wijk.
- The miracle, presented by someone who is as yet secret.
- F/X communication, presented by Brian Smith.
- XML on OS/2, presented by Gregory Bourassa.
- SciTech SNAP Graphics for OS/2, presented by Kendall Bennett.
- GoldenCode Trace Suite, presented by Greg Shah.

OpenWatcom 1.0 Beta Available
For the programmers out there, there is a beta binary release of OpenWatcom 1.0
now available. While it's beta, it means that the 1.0 release is finally coming down the pipe.
Something for Minesweeper Addicts
You might want to give PMMine a try. It is like the Windows
game but with a few improvements.
